To add images into an Email, you'll need an Image Element!

Images will make your Emails more attractive, will enable you to represent your brand with recognisable content, and increase the click rate for those Emails in which you place images with a link.

How to Add an Image

After placing your Element in the Canvas, click Browse to pick your image.

You may also locate the file in your computer, and drag and drop it on the Element. We support PNG, JPG, JPEG and GIF image file types. Whereas the average image file size tends to be around 2MB and 2.5MB, we recommend that you keep the file size at 1MB or under.

The image insertion options will appear. Let's pick an image!

Welcome to the free image library!

Finding the right image is tricky, but finding images that are free for commercial use is often really hard. APSIS One has an integrated image library that gives you free and unlimited access to +10 million photos, icons and illustrations, thanks to the partnership with our great friends at JumpStory.

How to Upload an Image

1. Click Upload.

2. Select an image file from your computer.

We support PNG, JPG, JPEG and GIF image file types. While the average image file size tends to be around 2MB and 2.5MB, we recommend that you keep the file size at 1MB or under.

How to Add Free Visuals

With JumpStory, the Free Visuals library allows you to find a free image for your email based on a keyword or search term.

1. Click Free Visuals.

2. In the search bar, enter the keyword(s) or search term(s) that describe the image you're looking for and press enter key on your keyboard.

3. Click on the image that best fits your email.

To narrow down your search, click on the filter icon on the left to see all available filters.

4. Click Insert to add the image to your Element. To discard and go back to the Canvas, click Cancel.

To go back and choose a different image, click Browse and repeat the steps described above.

5. If you want to remove the background of an image, select the image you want to use, check the Remove Background checkbox, and click Insert.

JumpStory will automatically remove the image's background, leaving you with a more versatile and visually striking image that will really make your email stand out in your recipient's inboxes.

How to Add an Image URL

1. Click Image URL.

2. Enter the URL for your image under Image URL.

We recommend that you only use image files hosted in your own domain, this will ensure that the image file is available for your email. If you intend to change an image in your email by replacing the image file in your URL, a picture with a different width will affect your email's design.

3. Click Insert to add the image to your Element. To discard and go back to the Canvas, click Cancel.

To go back and choose a different image, click Browse and repeat the steps described above.


How to Use Text Match

With JumpStory, the Text Match feature makes it possible to find an image for your email based on the content of a Text Element!

1. Click TextMatch.

2. Click Select to continue with Text Match. To discard and go back to the Canvas, click Cancel.

3. The Text Elements in your Canvas will be highlighted.

Click on the Text Element that you want to use to find an image.

4. Once you've chosen a Text Element, click Find matching image.

Your Image Element now has an image based on your Text Element!

Use the left and right arrows to browse through the suggested images until you find a good fit.

To confirm, click on the green checkmark. To discard, click on the red X.

If you decide to discard the suggested image, click Browse and repeat the steps described above.

2. Take a look at the Image Options on the right. Expand Link Settings to add your link!

Element Sizes
