About the Notification Node

With the Notification Node, you can send a notification to the members of your organisation that need information on how Profiles are travelling through your Marketing Automation flow.

The notification will be an email sent straight to their inbox from APSIS One, and it will contain both a message of your choice and the Profile data that you pick in the Notification Node. Email notifications from the Notification node will not be sent until at least one Profile reaches the node. As Profiles enter and leave your flow, the Notification Node will only send an email when there are Profiles passing through. Unless you choose a specific time for the notification email to be sent, the Notification Node will send to those Profiles in the node every thirty (90) minutes.

For example, it can be used to notify a Sales representative so that they know to contact those Profiles who have reached an important point in your flow and became a qualified lead.

The notification email sender address is notification-no-reply@apsis.com by default, and cannot be changed.

About Profile Consent

Note that you must make sure that the Profile data included in the notifications is handled responsibly according to Profile's consent.

From the Consent Management article in the Email tool's Deliverability section:

In order to obtain contact information from an individual, and therefore create an Audience Profile, you must have their consent. This consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous; meaning that when individuals provide you with their information they must do so being aware of its purpose. That being said, it is especially important that you, as an APSIS One user, have a comprehensive policy for your Profiles and keep track of their consent in your Audience.


Setting up the Notification Node

1. On Send to, enter the email addresses that you wish to send this notification to.

The notification email sender address is notification-no-reply@apsis.com by default, and cannot be changed.

2. Enter a Subject line for the email.

3. Edit the message you wish to send to the addresses along with the Profile information.

4. On Default and Custom Attributes, tick the boxes that correspond with the default Attributes that you wish to attach to the message.

The Attributes you pick will be added to the message for the recipients to have information about the Profiles who reach the node.

5. Lastly, toggle the Plan my notification sendings option to choose when the recipients should receive this email. With this setting disabled, the notification email will be sent every 90 minutes with the latest Profile data.

Under At, choose a time. Then, pick the weekdays the email should be sent.

6. Ready? Click Save.
