The APSIS One integration with Shopify can be uninstalled in two ways, with slightly different effect.

  • Uninstalling from the integration settings in your APSIS One account.

  • Removing the app from the App page in your Shopify Store

Uninstalling from the integration settings in APSIS One

If you uninstall this way, then APSIS One will stop all communication with your Shopify store, but imported data will remain in your APSIS One account. Since the APSIS One app is still present on your store, APSIS One still has API access to your store.

When should I use this option?

  • If you want to remove the Shopify integration without losing data that it has already collected in APSIS One.

  • If you have connected multiple sections to the same store and want to disconnect only a specific section(s).

Removing the app from your Stores App page causes an uninstallation on all connected sections in APSIS One (with all effects mentioned above) and has some extra effects.

  • APSIS One loses all API access to your Shopify store

  • After 48 hours, APSIS One will remove all data collected from your Shopify store as per the Shopify terms of service.

  • All connected installations in APSIS One will be uninstalled.

When should I use this option?

  • If you are ending your engagement with APSIS

  • If you want all data from your Store to be redacted from APSIS One as part of the uninstallation
